Some links on this page are affiliate links. I only list tools I use.
IDE
Cursor — My daily driver for SuiteScript and SuiteCommerce Advanced work. The AI-assisted multi-file edits handle refactors that would otherwise take twice as long by hand.
VS Code — With the Claude Code extension, this is basically as AI-powered as Cursor now — I bounce between the two depending on the project. (no affiliate program)
WebStorm — My JetBrains IDE for deep refactors and debugging. I tried the Claude Code JetBrains integration (via Setapp) but the textual in-IDE UX didn’t work for me, so I stick with Cursor for AI-assisted work. (no affiliate program)
AI
Claude — What actually built this site. SuiteScript debugging, SCA theme and extension builds, and most of the technical writing here starts as a Claude conversation. (Anthropic has no affiliate program; listed because it’s genuinely what I use)
SEO
SE Ranking — Rank tracking and site audits for NetSuite-specific keywords — the first tool I check when a post’s rankings move.
RankMath — Runs the SEO on this exact site: sitemaps, schema, and meta control, all in the Pro tier I actually pay for.
Screaming Frog — My go-to for crawling a site before an audit — broken links, redirect chains, and missing meta in one pass. (no affiliate program)
Image Optimization
ShortPixel — Compresses every image on this site to WebP on upload. Set it up once and never thought about image weight again.
Pixcribe — My own product — case-study post coming soon. No affiliate relationship here; it’s mine.
Image Editing
Photopea — A full Photoshop-style editor in the browser — free, no install, good enough for the image tweaks a blog actually needs. (no affiliate program)
NanaBanana — Gemini’s image model for anything generated from scratch — diagrams, hero images, quick visual explainers. (no affiliate program)
Hosting & Domains
Namecheap — This site’s host. Shared hosting is plenty for a content site at this scale, and it’s cheap.
GoDaddy — Where I register domains when Namecheap doesn’t have what I want — mentioned here for completeness.
